Rum and Ringtails is run from a sailboat that moves around the world at roughly walking pace. Every design, coloring page, and checklist was born at anchor, usually right after something broke.

Meet the crew in charge: Captain Ringtail, a raccoon in a feathered captain’s hat who has never once asked permission, and his first mate Possum, who plays dead for the harbor master and comes back to life for snacks. They take from the overpriced and give to the under-snacked, run the ship on vibes and stubbornness, and treat “because I said so” as a challenge, not an answer.

They handle quality control, salute nobody, and wear life jackets off camera (we promise).
